We ventured on to England. The towns were similar to Scotland and the people just as kind - at least out in the country.
We stayed at the George Hotel which we eventually found out was the name of at least one hotel in every English town. Guess they either think highly of King George or don't have much of an imagination. The inside was very quaint and we were on the third floor which with no elevator. We learned to pack light....
Took a walk around the town and got to see another castle!

We found out many of the castles were in ruins. This next one was called Old Sarum. It doesn't look like much but in person it was very impressive.
The moat was amazingly large and made my knees weak to just look in it!
Just like in Scotland, there were plenty of sheep around to mow the hillside...
