The trip to the Grouse Distillery was truly trial by fire as far as driving on the left in a strange country. The narrowest roads ever...most of them one car only as you crept around the corner, hoping no one was coming.
We did meet a lot of sheep on the way...
All in all, the landscape was beautiful and it was certainly worth the lengthy trip to Glenturret.
We also learned more about whisky than I thought was possible - though it was very interesting. I am not sure what a great idea it was though to drink shots of whisky on an empty stomach and then drive through small towns with narrow roads. At least we had that good Scottish breakfast in us!
hic!
